Roberta J. Johnson, 64, of Bucyrus, KS passed away on September 27, 2017 at Southwestern Regional Medical Center, Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born August 10, 1953 in Pittsburg, KS, the daughter of William Calvin and Eva Roberta (Pittman) Bunney. On June 16,1973 she was united in marriage to Michael D. Johnson at Pittsburg, KS. Bobbie was part owner/operator of MD Electric with her husband Mike. Her passion was rescuing all kinds of animals including dogs, cats, horses and a pig. She enjoyed mowing, planting flower gardens, crocheting and quilting. Bobbie touched a lot of lives and was a very caring and giving human being. Her family was her life and she loved each and every one of them with all of her heart. She was preceded in death by her parents and eight siblings. Survivors include her husband, Mike, of the home; one son, Michael (Christine) D. Johnson, JR; one daughter, Jennifer (David) Shaner; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one brother, Frank Bunney; and two sisters, Eva Seward and Joyce Parsons. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at First Christian Church, Louisburg, KS with the funeral service following at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in the Louisburg Cemetery.
