Robert O. Roberts

Robert Owen Roberts, age 84, of Louisburg, KS died July 27, 2013 at Louisburg Care Center. He was born October 3, 1928 in Odell, Nebraska, the son of Thomas E. and Ora A. Roberts. He was united in marriage on September 27, 1955 to Barbara A. Owens at Clayton, New Mexico. Bob was employed at Panhandle Eastern Pipeline Company for 38 years before retiring in 1984. He was a member of the Louisburg VFW and American Legion. He served for 4 years in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Louisburg, KS. After retirement Bob became a full time farmer. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Dean and Eldon Roberts. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Barbara Roberts, of the home; one son, Steve (Becky) Roberts, Louisburg, KS; three daughters, Debbie (Robert) Stahl, Shawnee, KS; Kim Dollard, Louisburg, KS; and Vicky (Lou) Davis, Louisburg, KS; one sister, Harriet West, Cheyenne, WY; thirteen grandchildren; Annie Rowe (Aaron), Katie Stahl, Cara Knopke (Jake), Rick Stahl, Marie Roberts, Jennifer Stahl, Ryan Roberts, Cole Davis, Josh Dollard, Emily Davis, Erin Davis, Clay Davis and Ellie Davis; four great grandchildren, Ethan Rowe, Alexis Rowe, Hudson Town and Alexander Knopke; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. The family suggests contributions to the Louisburg Baptist Church Building fund. First Baptist Church 406 S.
