Robert Lee Johnson

Robert Lee Johnson Jr., 49, Ottawa, died Sunday Dec. 23, 2007, at his home. He was born Oct. 25, 1958, at Columbus, Ohio, to Robert Lee and Susie (Hogue) Johnson. He owned and operated Johnson and Mackey Landscaping, Evanston, Ill. Robert has made his home in Ottawa, moving from his lifelong residence of Evanston, Illinois. Robert was employed the past year as a cook for Long John Silvers in Ottawa. In Evanston, Illinois, he had owned and operated his own landscaping business, Johnson and Mackey Landscaping, for several years. He was also a silkscreener foreman at Phillip and Lockman in Evanston. Robert was a faithful member of Bethany Baptist Church in Ottawa. On August 17, 1985, Robert was united in marriage with Irvertt M. Calvey in Evanston, Illinois. She survives of their home. Survivors also include a brother, Michael S. Johnson, Evanston, Ill.; an aunt; three uncles and a cousin. He was preceded in death by his parents.
