Robert Jackson

Robert L. Jackson, 67, of Paola, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at Richmond Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Richmond, Kansas of Alzheimers. He was born May 22, 1947, in Portland, Oregon, the son of William and Hazel Euwer. He married Teresa Pirner on October 12, 1968. Robert served in the U. S. Navy during Vietnam. He made many friends over the years and will be missed by his family and those friends. He worked as a ranch manager for many years and had a way with animals, large and small. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Teresa; two sons Christopher Jackson (Marcella) of Osawatomie and Robert Jackson (Kelley) of Paola; one daughter Lisa Harder (Brad) of Emporia; 7 grandchildren Jessica, Kendra, Madison, Evan, Dakota, C.J., and Alyssa; and 1 great grandson A.J. He was preceded in death by his parents. Robert enjoyed fishing, sports - especially the KC Chiefs and KC Royals, being outdoors, horses, cattle, and his motorcyle. Most importantly he loved his grandchildren and dogs.
