Robert D. Rinehart, 68 of Louisburg, KS, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at the University of Kansas Hospital. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 22, 2009 at the First Baptist Church of Louisburg, 406 S. Vine, Louisburg, KS. Burial will follow in Fort Scott National Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 " 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the church. The family suggests contributions to the First Baptist Church. (New Building Fund). Robert was born February 20, 1941 in Humboldt, Kansas, to Albert Lee and Mary Frances Williams Rinehart. He was married to Lora Richardson on July 16, 1966 in Kansas City, KS. They moved to Louisburg in September of 1973 where he and Lora raised their family. Robert worked as a welder and retired from Bucyrus Equipment Company in 2006. He enjoyed time spent with his family, especially watching his grandsons, Drew and Drake Durham, participating in sporting events. His baby was his silver classic 1966 Satellite car. He was a number one fan of KU basketball. Jokes and laughter always filled the home of Bob and Lora. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Terri in October 1986. His parents, brothers, Albert Rinehart and Richard Rinehart and sister, Betty Wilson. Survivors include his wife Lora Rinehart of the home. Daughters, Mendy Durham (Glenn) of New Richmond, Wisconsin. Andra Taylor (Jeff) of Kansas City, Missouri. Grandsons, Drew and Drake Durham. Brother, Jim Rinehart of Wichita Kansas. Brother-in-law, David Richardson of Block, Kansas and many additional family members and friends. Louisburg First Baptist Church 406 S.
