Richard Mccrackin

Richard A. McCrackin, age 36, passed away April 9, 2012 in an automobile accident in Miami County. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Paola Christian Church, 302 E. Peoria, Paola, Kansas. Richie had many recreational activities that he loved, one of which was fishing. He had a love for all creatures so he was always a catch and release kind of guy. He also took up the hobby of making wooden pens and other items on his lathe, he was very proud of his work. Richie was well known as being a great mechanic and he spent much of his time working on cars, whether it was for himself, friends, or family. Richie seemed to be the go to guy for a lot of people, whether it was mechanical, technological, emotional, or whatever the case may have been, we could count on Richie. He was an amazing man that was selfless and he always helped if he was able. We will all miss him very much. He is survived by his father-Bill McCrackin; sister Angie McCrackin; brothers Kevin and Gary McCrackin; grandparents Billy and Renata McCrackin, all of Paola.
