Reginald Bert Moore died peacefully in his home on December 23, 2017 after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Wichita, Kansas but eventually moved to Topeka. He graduated from Topeka West High School then graduated with a BS in Electrical Engineering from Kansas State University. During his time at K-State he served as president of the SCORE Project which won 1st place internationally. After he graduated he received his PE license in Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska. He is survived by his wife Vicki, his children William (Nina), Kiel, Ashley, Shannon, two grandchildren, and his beloved dog Barkley. He is also survived by his father Bill Moore, a sister Philicia McKee, and a brother Gaylan, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relative and many friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Phyllis Moore. He worked for HF Rubber Machinery and his job took him to many places all over the world where he felt blessed to have formed many friendships. He will be interred at Mount Hope cemetery at a to be determined time. In lieu of flowers the family would like donations made to the Miami County Cancer Foundation 907 N Pearl Street Suite 6, Paola, KS 66071. Family and friends are encouraged to post memories and condolences on Regi's tribute wall.
