Raymond "Mac" Mckiearnan

Raymond Robert McKiearnan (Mac) age 87, of Louisburg, KS, son of Robert and Florence (Kuffler) McKiearnan, born September 25, 1931, went to his heavenly father on January 16, 2019 at Overland Park Regional Medical Center in Overland Park, KS. He fought a long, hard health battle over the years and survived many of those conditions. For his last battle, God told him it was time to come home and there will be no more suffering, only joy. Mac married Judy Bickham Rhea on April 3, 1971. He was married to the love of his life for 48 wonderful years. He retired from General Motors Leeds after 27 ½ years. After selling his farms, he and Judy moved to Harlingen, TX in 1993 to be in warmer climate from the cold weather. He loved to travel and traveled all over the United States, Canada and Mexico. He was also a very proud veteran having served in the Air Force during the Korean War from 1951 through 1955. He served 18 months in England as target intelligence. His health started failing in 2014 and he purchased a home back in Louisburg to be closer to his children and resided there until his death. He was preceded in death by is parents and Aunt Lucille (Kuffler) Webb that raised him and several cousins. He is survived by his wife, Judy; two sons, Chaplain Stephen D. (Brenda) McKiearnan and Thorvald D. (Carmen) McKiearnan; grandchildren, Timothy (Andrea) McKiearnan and children Brooke, Morgan, Carter McKiearnan, Ashley (Chris) Masoner and son Alex Masoner, Stephannie McKiearnan, Allison (Jesse) Hoehn, Paige (Matt) Nolte and daughter Lilyan, T.J. McKiearnan, Jennifer (Mickey) Goodman and children Aubry , Harper and Lee Goodman and Lindsay (Jon) Leslie. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 19, 2019 at First Christian Church, 602 N. First Street, Louisburg, KS with the funeral service following at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in the Louisburg Cemetery. The family suggest contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
