Raymond Keith Richardson

Raymond Keith Richardson, age 85, of Leavenworth, Kansas passed away December 18, 2021 at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas. Visitation will be held at 9:00 a.m. to 10: 00 a.m. Thursday, December 23, 2021 with the funeral service to follow at 10:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church 422 Chestnut Street, Leavenworth, KS 66048. Interment will take place at 1:30 p.m. at Louisburg Cemetery in Louisburg, Kansas. Raymond was born June 15, 1936 in Edgerton, Kansas, the son of John and Evelyn (Denoon) Richardson. After Raymond graduated from high school, he went on to serve his country in the United States Army for two years. Following his service with the United States Army, he attended college at Kansas City Art Institute and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in graphic design. He was united in marriage to Lorene Werner on December 16, 1966 in Topeka, Kansas. They were happily married for 55 years. Raymond enjoyed many artistic pursuits and spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Wyatt Richardson. Raymond is survived by his wife Lorene, son Lance Richardson of Fishers Indiana and sister Glenna Miller, of Basehor, Kansas.
