Ray Neville Wrisley, age 74, Bucyrus, KS, died peacefully at home November 22, 2017. Ray was born December 12, 1942 in Ionia, Michigan to Leo and Enide Bennett Wrisley. He was the youngest of four boys. Ray attended Belding High School then earned both his Bachelors and Master’s degree’s in business from Michigan State University. He met his beloved wife, Carole of almost 47 years while attending Michigan State. They were married on August 30, 1969 and moved to Kansas in 1971. They built their house near Wea, where they lived since 1973. Ray was the Sergeant of arms for the John P. Hand American Legion Post 250 in Louisburg as well as a repairman for the Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Overland Park, KS. He enjoyed reading, politics and spending time with his family. He and Carole were blessed with three children starting in 1975, Amy Elizabeth, Scott Leo and Jay Herbert Wrisley. He was preceded in death by parents, three brothers as well as his dearly missed wife Carole. He is survived by his son’s, Scott and Jay Wrisley, daughter and son in law, Amy and Chad Curphy of Shawnee, Ks, grandsons, Raven Peer and Austin Curphy, niece, Jean James and nephew Warren Wrisley.
