Ralph Lamar Broadrick

Ralph Lamar Broadrick age 90, Louisburg, KS passed away October 25, 2018 at the Kansas City Hospice House. Visitation will be 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Louisburg First Baptist Church 406 S. Vine St. Louisburg, KS. Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Burial in the Louisburg Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to the First Baptist Church Building Fund C/O Dengel & Son Mortuary P.O. Box 669 Louisburg, KS 66053. Ralph was born August 25, 1928 in Dalton, Georgia the son of Dennis and Ina Mae Steele Broadrick, he married Mary Jo Capehart on December 26, 1948 in Chattsworth, Georgia. He was a strong Christian who was devoted to his wife, his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved life, gardening and listening to Christian music. With the help of his wife, he worked his way through college while supporting his family of three kids to earn his engineering degree. He ensured that each of his four children went on to earn a college degree. His generosity to his family held no bounds. He was preceded in death by his parents. Ralph is survived by his wife, Mary Jo; children, Bruce (Linda) Broadrick; Brenda (Dan) Gussick; Del Jo Broadrick and Denise (Matt) Staples. Grandchildren, Brett, Blake, Brian Broadrick; Ben, Jon Gussick, Jacob, Moriah and Christian Staples. Great Grandchildren, Andrew, Broughton, Keimy, Marlo and Bennett Broadrick and Finlay Gussick.
