Phillip C. Achey

Phillip Claude Achey, age 55, of Paola, Kansas passed away June 17, 2013 in North Dakota. Phillip was born November 6, 1957 in Paola, Kansas to Harold E. and Greta A. Nordstrom Achey. He graduated from Paola High School and was Salutatorian of his class and then went to Allen County College. After college, he started working for the airlines and spent several years as an agent supervisor. After retirement he went to North Dakota to work for Alliance Pipeline as a Project Land Agent. He enjoyed working with people and making new friends everywhere he went. He was an avid KU fan and his charisma and humorous nature attracted many. He leaves behind a daughter Briana Achey, two year old Grandson Tristan Gilmour, his parents, and two brothers Dale and David Achey. He will surely be missed by those who knew him and his legacy will be carried on by his family.
