Peggy Medlin

Peggy Medlin, age 79, of Paola, Kansas passed away August 19, 2014 at her home. She was born on January 12, 1935 in Chanute, Kansas to Frank Lloyd and Maxine Mae Hunt McKenzie. She grew up in the Osawatomie area where she attended high school. On November 15, 1952 Peggy was united in marriage to Frank Medlin in Paola. Together they had two daughters and two sons. Early in her marriage, she helped her husband on the family farm. She was a homemaker and also worked as a receptionist for the Weight Watchers organization for 35 years. Her hobbies were ceramics, canning, traveling to Branson, watching sporting events especially KU basketball and football along with the Royals and Chiefs, watching the food network, and spending time with family and friends. Peggy is preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is survived by sons Ron Medlin of Spring Hill and Earl and wife Darleen Medlin of Paola; daughters Carol Morarie of Wichita and Susan Medlin of Spring Hill; brothers Milton, Gary, and Tom McKenzie; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
