Peggy Ann Roatch

Peggy Ann (Rowland) Roatch of Manhattan, KS passed away February 13, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka, KS. The daughter of Jerry and Joella Rowland, Peggy grew up in Ottawa, KS, attending Sacred Heart Catholic School, Ottawa Junior High School, and Ottawa High School, graduating with the class of 1983. She spent most of her life caring for people. It was both her profession for many years and her most passionate hobby. Most recently, she was employed with the Laborers Local 1290 union out of St. Mary’s, KS. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Larios; parents, Jerry and Joella Rowland of Vassar, KS; sister, Pattie Piersol and Jeff of Williamsburg, KS; brother, Ron Rowland and Rebekah of Garnett, KS; sons, Joshua Roatch and Taylor of Wellsville, KS, Justin Roatch and Kiley of Manhattan, KS, Dalton Larios and Hannah of Topeka, KS, Gavin Larios of Manhattan, KS, and Eion Larios of Manhattan, KS; daughters, Paige Roatch and Lawrence of Manhattan, KS, Jaid Larios and Dustin of Lane, KS, and Kimberly Peppmeier-Brennaman; fifteen grandchildren; and countless friends who will miss her dearly. She is preceded in death by grandparents, Marvin and Nadine Rowland and Willa Mae Hewitt; aunt, Janice Warrick; and granddaughter, Zailin Wormell. A celebration of life will be held in Ottawa, KS at Dengel and Son Mortuary, 235 S Hickory St, on Monday, February 19th at 6:00 P.M. A service will be held in Manhattan, KS at First Lutheran Church in the Fellowship Hall, 930 Poyntz Ave, on Sunday, February 18th, from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
