Paula L. Decaire

Paula L. DeCaire age 51 of Paola passed away at her home on May 28th. (Cremation)Memorial Services Monday June 1 at the Plum Creek United Methodist Church 319th and Plum Creek Rd. Paola, Kansas, at 10:30 AM, memorials to the Jason DeCaire educational fund in care of Penwell-Gabel 305 N. Pearl Paola Kansas 66071. Paula was born on February 27, 1958 in Kansas City, Missouri to Lawrence A. and Lavinia Anderson Gower. She graduated from Shawnee Mission North in 1976 and received her Associates Degree from Johnson County Community College in 1999. She was married to David DeCaire in May of 1983. To this union, one son was born, and later the marriage ended in divorce. Paula has lived in Paola for the past 15 years and enjoyed raising her son Jason, and was a mother to all his friends. She also enjoyed watching movies, her pets, and was a very good artist. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother Kenneth Gower. Survivors are her son Jason of the home, sister, Norma Hawk of Prairie Village, sister, Kathy Lovett of Paola, brother Frank Gower of Green Valley Missouri, and many nieces and nephews; she will be greatly missed by family and friends Plum Creek Methodist Church, Corner of 319 and Plum Creek Road, Paola, KS 66071 Service: Monday, June 01, 2009 10:30 AM Visitation: No Visitation
