Paul Spears

Paul Eugene Spears age 68, of Louisburg, KS passed away Friday, October 18, 2013 at his home. Paul was born September 28, 1945 at Kansas City, Kansas, the son of Thurman and Florence Maynard Spears. He was united in marriage on November 26, 1985 in Paola, KS to Patricia A. Hook. Paul graduated from Louisburg High School and soon after served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the Louisburg American Legion Post 250 and was an avid fisherman. He is preceded in death by his parents, step mother, Shirley Spears and his two brothers, Danny and Tony Spears. Survivors include his wife Pat of the home, daughter, Charity Rice and husband Brandon, Louisburg, KS; Son, Justin Spears Keehler, Oak Grove, MO; step son, Rusty Nay and wife Kelly, Louisburg, KS; brother, Chuck Spears (Rowena), Monett, MO; brother, Steve Reed (Julie), Ottawa, KS; sisters, Sharon Fowler, Lawrence, KS; Julie Jackman (Manny), Greeley, KS; Marilyn Hall (Bill), Osawatomie, KS; Connie Morgan, Lawrence, KS; Kim Spears, Osawatomie, KS; Teresa Stivers (Jerry), Osawatomie, KS; Paula Spears, Osawatomie, KS; Nancy Spears, Osawatomie, KS, two granddaughters, Quincy and Karly Rice and two grandsons, Michael and Matthew Nay. The family suggests contributions to American Legion Post 250 or to Harden Hospice.
