Patricia Bruns Zuck, 89, of rural Paola, Kansas went home to be with Jesus on Monday, July 2, 2018. She was born February 17, 1929 in Talmage, Nebraska, to Elmer and Elizabeth Nadine Bruns. She grew up on a farm near Talmage, later moving to southwest Iowa. She was the fourth child of five, with three brothers, James, Robert, and Larry, as well as one sister, Judy. Patricia was married to John Keith Zuck, the love of her life, in St. Joseph, Missouri. on June 26, 1948. They had three daughters, Sandra, Barbara, and Krista and lived in Kansas City, Missouri. Patricia was a homemaker. She enjoyed quilting, canning, and traveling with her husband, John. Her life was defined by her close relationship with Jesus, and she made time to talk to Him daily. Patricia faithfully served her family, church, and community throughout her life. She gave abundantly and was an amazing prayer warrior. She passed that legacy down to her children and grandchildren. Patricia was a wonderful example for all of us. She was a member of Colonial Presbyterian Church in Kansas City before she and John purchased property and designed their home in rural Paola. They were happy being in the country with their large garden and orchard. Patricia loved having her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren visit. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband John Keith Zuck, an infant son Ronald Keith Zuck, and grandson Adam Dutton. She leaves behind three daughters, Sandy Morgan and her husband Frank of Louisburg, KS, Barbara Ryder of Grandview, MO, and Krista Dutton and her husband Russ of Paola, KS; six grandchildren, Stacy Roberts and her husband Drew, Michael Morgan and his wife Kate, Mandy Huie and her husband Jason, Danny Nault and his fiancé Michelle, Debbie Griffin and her husband Tony, and Amanda Burak and her husband Kevin; 16 great grandchildren, Joshua, Abigail, and John Patrick Morgan, Mason and Caden Roberts, Sam, Annabelle, Ben, and Joey Griffin, Lillian, Claire, and Brayden Huie, Eric and Brody Nault, and Sydney and Cameron Burak.
