Patricia Sue "Pat" Sellers

Patricia Sue “Pat” Sellers, 84, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away, Thursday, June 29, 2023, at The Piper Assisted Living and Memory Care.

Memorial services will be held at 5:30 P.M., Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at Dengel & Son Mortuary, Ottawa.

Family will meet with friends directly following the service at the mortuary.

Pat was born on Friday, April 28, 1939, in Ottawa, Kansas, the daughter of Theodore and Mae (Johnson) Gebhard.

Pat grew up in Ottawa and graduated from Ottawa High School with the class of 1957. She then moved to Lenexa and spent her last 51 years in Spring Hill.

She was united in marriage to John S. Sellers May 31, 1959, in Ottawa. He preceded her in death on June 14, 2016.

Pat worked 25 years for the J.C. Penny Distribution Center, Lenexa, Kansas, in quality control and equipment refurbishing, retiring in 2008.

She was a member of the King of Kings Lutheran Church in Gardner, Kansas.

Pat enjoyed quilting and was a member of the Spring Hill and Paola quilting clubs. She also enjoyed gardening, canning what she grew, sewing, water skiing and fast cars. Pat especially enjoyed the time she spent with her family and grandchildren.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, husband John and two sisters.

Survivors include her children, Stephanie White (Dwayne) of Seligman, Missouri, Ted Sellers (Bethany) of Wellsville, Kansas, and Katrina Williams (Tim) of Basehor, Kansas; ten grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
