Patricia Sue “Patti” (Callahan) Likes, age 41, of Ottawa, Kansas, passed away quietly with her family surrounding her on Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas. She was born on Monday, October 27, 1969, in Ottawa, the daughter of Danny and Delpha (Stecher) Callahan. She was a lifelong resident of Ottawa. Patti graduated from Ottawa High School with the class of 1988. In the 1990’s and early 2000’s, she worked for Applebee’s Restaurant, and the last five years as a material handler for American Eagle, both of Ottawa. In 1990, Patti was united in marriage with Tim Spears in Burlington, Kansas. They were later divorced. She later married David Likes in Ottawa. They were later divorced. She is survived by her: Parents-Danny and Delpha Callahan of Ottawa; Daughter-Paige Spears and her companion, Devin Knight, of Ottawa; Son-Clint Spears of Ottawa; Son-Colby Likes of the home; Grandson-Zachary Knight of Ottawa; Granddaughter-Mackenzie Knight of; Ottawa Many aunts, uncles, and cousins. SERVICES: Funeral services will be held from the Dengel & Son Mortuary in Ottawa at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 2, 2011. IN STATE: Patti will lie in state at the Dengel & Son Mortuary from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Saturday and 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday to the service hour, where there will be a family visitation from 7:00 to 8:00 Sunday evening.
