Patricia E. “Pat” Phillips, 85, of Ottawa, Kansas, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2021, at Rock Creek of Ottawa. Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at De Soto Cemetery, 34500 W. 87th Street, De Soto, Kansas 66018. Pat was born December 23, 1935 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Earle C. and Virginia (Farris) Blair. She lived in Ottawa, Kansas City, De Soto, and Overland Park, all in Kansas before moving back to Ottawa, Kansas in 2010. She graduated from Ottawa High School. Pat was united in marriage with Arguyle Meagenheimer. He preceded her in death in December 2009. She was united in marriage with Warren Dale Phillips on April 7, 1956 in Missouri. He preceded her in death July 29, 1988. She was also preceded in death by her son, Roger Phillips; daughter, Karen Shaw, sister, Judy Ionnone and grandchildren, Shawn Shaw and Amy Shaw. Survivors include her sons, James Phillips of Lawrence, and Rick Phillips of Ottawa; brother, Malcolm Blair of Ellensburg, Washington; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Pat was a devoted homemaker. She enjoyed playing the piano. The family suggests memorial donations to Greenwood Baptist Church c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory, Ottawa, Kansas 66067.
