Patricia M. Ebert

Patricia M. “Pat” Ebert, age 83, of Ottawa, Kansas, died Tuesday, December 20, 2011, at Christian Care Cottage in Ottawa, Kansas. She was born on Thursday, November 8, 1928, in Elk River, Minnesota, the daughter of Alan and Ethelyn (Parker) Barstow. She lived in Castroville and San Antonio, Texas for twenty years, prior to moving to Ottawa in Franklin County, Kansas in 2002. Pat graduated from Anoka (Minnesota) High School with the class of 1946. She was a dedicated homemaker. She also worked for Sears and Roebuck Co., Bell Telephone Company, and in Civil Service. She was an active member in the Baptist Church. She was also a member of Women’s Aglow, and Mobile Missionaries in Christ’s Service (MMAPS) & (RVICS). She and her husband worked as missionaries in Kentucky, Florida, Texas, and Tennessee. On Friday, June 18, 1948, Pat was united in marriage with Warren John Charles Ebert. He preceded her in death in February of 1987. Son-Donald Ebert and his wife, Marilyn, of Converse, Texas; Son-Douglas Ebert and his wife, Pam, of Desoto, Kansas; Daughter-K. Christian Ebert of Titusville, Florida; Son-David Ebert and his wife, Terry, of San Antonio, Texas; Sister-Janice Wallin of Zimmerman, Minnesota; Brother-Joyce Boos of Elk River, Minnesota; Brother-Dick Barstow of Anoka, Minnesota; Brother-Terry Barstow of Anoka, Minnesota Grandchildren-Eight, Gt.Grandchildren-Two. She is preceded in death by her: Husband-Warren John Charles Ebert; Parents-Alan and Ethelyn Barstow; Sister-Jeanne Blesi. SERVICES: Memorial Services will be held at the Dengel & Son Mortuary in Ottawa at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 22, 2011. IN STATE: Mrs. Ebert’s wishes were to be cremated. CEMETERY: Inurnment will be at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
