Patricia (Jobe) Wyatt

Patricia Ann "Patsy" Wyatt, age 67, of Somerset, Kansas, died December 29, 2014 at Olathe Medical Center. Patsy was born April 28, 1947 at Kansas City, Kansas. She was the second of five children born to Clifford and Annabelle (James) Jobe. She grew up in the Somerset area and attended elementary school at Beaver Creek and then Louisburg. She was united in marriage to Merle Wyatt on October 3, 1963 at Louisburg. They made their home in Somerset and became the parents of two children. Patsy worked for her parents in her younger years at Jobes Dairy Whirl in Louisburg. She later worked at Pinecrest Nursing Home in Paola as a nurse's aide. She then worked at King Radio in Paola in October of 1977 which was bought out by Honeywell. She retired from Honeywell in 2002. She was a member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary in Louisburg. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers Clifford, Jr., James, and Allen. She is survived by her husband Merle of the home; her daughter April Johnston (Tim); her son Merle, Jr.; and sister Nancy Rankin (Don)all of Somerset; 2 grandchildren Seraj Samaha and Wyatt Johnston; one great granddaughter Nevaeh Nicole Smith; other relatives and friends.
