Patricia Ann Dupont-Zaman

Patricia Ann "Patty" Dupont-Zaman, age 63, of rural Osawatomie, Kansas, died February 9, 2017 at Osawatomie Life Care Center. Born in 1953, at Greenfield, Iowa, Patty grew up and graduated in the Bridgewater, Iowa area. She began working for the telephone company in Iowa and then transferred to the Kansas City area, where she worked in various positions until retiring in 1999. She also worked for various companies in the Osawatomie area until fully retiring in December of 2015. She loved gardening, flowers, and her mules and other pets. She treasured family and friends and had a zest for life. We will always remember her wonderful smile and laugh. She is survived by her husband Chuck; father Paul Dory of Arkoma, Oklahoma; sister Phyllis Walters of Arkhoma, Oklahoma; and brother Miles Dory of Midland, Texas. She is also survived by daughter Sarajane Sandefur (Steve); step-children Debbie McReynolds (Donny), Bud Zaman (Leslie), and Rosemary Davis (Chuck); and grandchildren Cole and Kyle Sandefur, Keith McReynolds, Jared and Doug Zaman, and Eric Pfaltzgraff.
