Patricia Ann Castleberry

Patricia Ann Castleberry, 73, of Paola, Kansas, passed away Saturday, July 3, 2021, at her home. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 12, 2021, at Dengel & Son Mortuary, 1 Aquatic Drive, Louisburg, KS, 66053. Graveside services will follow at 11:30 a.m., at Bucyrus Cemetery, Bucyrus, Kansas. Patricia was born Friday, November 28, 1947, in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Edward and Della (Pratt) Dotson. She grew up in Bucyrus and attended Wea catholic school. She was united in marriage to Leslie Riley Castleberry on December 5, 1965, at Bucyrus, Ks. She had worked at Friendship Manor in Paola, Highline Plastics in Olathe, King Louie Profit Caps in Paola, King Radio in Paola, Daisy Corporation in Gardner, Custom Molding in Paola, and the Osawatomie State Hospital. Her hobbies included crocheting and puzzle books. She was a big fan of Elvis Presley and collected a lot of Elvis memorabilia. She also collected Precious Moments figurines. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Gary and Eddie Dotson, a sister Ruby Smith, and a great grandson Jaxson Lee Smith. Survivors include her husband Les of the home; daughter Robin (Clint) Kern of Greeley, KS; two sons David Castleberry of Parker, KS and Phillip Castleberry of Louisburg, KS; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; two brothers Bob Dotson of Independence, MO and Virgil Dotson of Fayetteville, NC; her sisters Mary Lawrence of Scammon, KS and Carolyn Earl of Stockton, KS; many other relatives and friends.
