Pamela J. Finch, 60, of Ottawa, Kansas, passed away Thursday, November 4, 2021, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, November 18, 2021, at Dengel & Son Mortuary, Ottawa. Family will meet with friends from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. prior to the service. Interment Highland Cemetery, Ottawa. Pam was born August 6, 1961, in Ottawa, the daughter of Robert Wayne and Edith Geraldine (Rowe) Steele. She lived in Pomona and graduated from Pomona High School with the Class of 1979. That year she moved to Ottawa and on October 13, 1979, Pam was united in marriage to Donald Finch. Pam was a devoted homemaker and was employed at the JC Penney Warehouse in Lenexa for 20 years, and later worked in home health care. She was a member of the Appanoose Baptist Church. Pam enjoyed antiquing, working in the yard with her flowers, crafts, thrift shopping, traveling and cooking. Many things were important in life to Pam but among the greatest was her family. She always looked forward to their family gatherings and time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Eric Finch and sister, Kathy Wilson. Survivors include her husband Donnie of the home; parents Robert and Geri Steele of Overbrook; two children, Nathan Finch of Ottawa, and Carie Beth Gunnels (Michael) also of Ottawa; brother Wayne Steele of Shawnee, Kansas; four grandchildren, Aryka Finch, Maryah Gunnels, Jasmine Gunnels, and Havana Gunnels all of Ottawa.
