Olla Mae Keenan

She has lived in Ottawa since 1950, moving from Williamsburg. Olla graduated from Williamsburg High School with the class of 1932. She was a homemaker, assisting her husband with the dairy farm, beef cattle, and horses. She also co-owned and helped operate Keenan Sanitation Service in Ottawa. She was a member of North Baptist Church in Ottawa, former member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, and member of Sac Creek Social Club in Williamsburg. On November 30, 1942, Olla was united in marriage with John Thomas Keenan in Ottawa. He preceded her in death on June 8, 1992. SERVICES: Funeral services will be held from the Dengel & Son Mortuary at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 4, 2006. IN STATE: Friends may pay their respects to Mrs. Keenan at the Dengel & Son Mortuary from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday and after 8:30 a.m. Monday to the service hour, where the family will meet with friends from 7 to 8 Monday evening. CEMETERY: Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Williamsburg, Kansas. MEMORIALS: The family suggests memorials to Williamsburg Library Fund, c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory, Ottawa, Kansas 66067. Condolences may be e-mailed to the family through dengelmortuary@sbcglobal.net.
