Norma Louise O’Hara, 94, of Ottawa, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at Vintage Park at Ottawa.
Private family services will be held.
Interment Highland Cemetery, Ottawa, Kansas.
Norma was born Sunday, April 14, 1929, in Hugoton, Kansas, the daughter of William and Bessie (Lee) Little.
She lived in Olathe, Kansas before moving to Ottawa in 1969.
Norma was united in marriage on August 9, 1948, in Fort Scott, Kansas, to Marlin Dale O’Hara. He preceded her in death on October 19, 2021.
She was a beautician for over forty years and was the owner and operator of His & Hers in Ottawa for many years.
Norma was a member of the Ottawa Trinity United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women in Faith.
She liked to crochet, work puzzle books and cook. Norma especially loved spending time with her family. We know that she is happy holding Dale’s hand once again.
Norma was preceded in death by husband Dale; parents William and Bessie; three daughters Lanita Nelson, Janet O’Hara, and Karon London; grandson Ronnie Nelson; two sisters; and two brothers.
Survivors include son Larry O’Hara (Brenda) of Topeka, Kansas; five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
