Nila C. Campbell

Nila C. Campbell, age 74, of Louisburg, KS died Sept. 15, 2010 at Louisburg Care Center. She was born at home in Louisburg, KS on July 8, 1936, the daughter of Fred Weers & Iva Mae Weers (Kerr). Nila grew up in Louisburg and graduated from Louisburg High School with the class of 1954. She was later married to Joe Campbell. Nila worked for a period of time at Inter-Collegiate Press and Marley Plastics. She had a house cleaning service, and was known of her immaculate abilities to keep her own house spotless. She also worked at the Senior Residential Center in Louisburg. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Campbell; her parents, and 3 brothers, Fred Edward, Ron and David Weers. Survivors include 1 son, Danny Pemberton, Louisburg, KS; 1 brother, Larry Weers, Louisburg, KS; 1 sister, Kathryn Samuelson, Harrisonville, MO; 1 grandson Eric Pemberton and wife Heidi; 1 granddaughter, Katie Pemberton; 2 great grandsons, Brody Pemberton and Kaden Oehlert. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am on Monday, Sept. 20, 2010 at Penwell-Gabel Louisburg Chapel, Louisburg, KS. Visitation will be on Sunday, Sept. 19, 2010 from 3-5pm at the chapel. The family asks that contribution be given to Grace Hospice or American Cancer Society.
