She was a near lifelong Franklin County resident of Princeton, moving from Anderson County in 1934. Nellie graduated from Rantoul High School with the class of 1942. She was employed for Sunflower Power Plant; Glencher Cleaners; Mode O`Day; and Hillcrest Theatre; retiring in 1999. She was a member of Ruhamah Baptist Church and Royal Neighbor Lodge, both in Rantoul. On November 24, 1943, Nellie was united in marriage with Leo Blackstone in Garnett, Kansas. He survives of their home. SERVICES: Funeral services will be held at Ruhamah Baptist Church in Rantoul at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 8, 2007. IN STATE: Friends may pay their respects to Mrs. Blackstone at the Dengel & Son Mortuary from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday. CEMETERY: Ruhamah Cemetery, Rantoul, Kansas.
