Neil Snook, 68, of Ottawa, Kansas, passed away Friday, July 22, 2022, at his residence. Family will meet with friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Thursday, July 28, 2022, at Dengel & Son Mortuary, Ottawa. Neil was born December 5, 1953, at Topeka Kansas, the son of Frank and Jean (Durner) Snook. He was a lifelong Ottawa resident and attended Ottawa High School. Neil was united in marriage to Debbie Adams March 14, 1974, in Ottawa, Kansas. She survives of the home. He was employed for over 35 years at Ottawa Truck, currently known as Kalmar, as a welder, later moving to the parts and service department, retiring in 2017. Neil was a member of the Williamsburg-Ottawa Wildlife Conservation Club. He enjoyed pheasant hunting, fishing, target shooting and riding his Harley. Neil especially enjoyed time spent with his grandchildren and family. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Lyle Snook. Along with his wife Debbie, survivors include daughter Jodi Fischer (John) of Harrisonville, Missouri; son, Cody Snook (Lyndsie) of Ottawa; sisters, Gail Constance (Ronnie) of Louisiana, and Carol Meinhardt of Topeka; in-laws Billy Adams of Ottawa, Marilyn Reed (Pat) of Ottawa, and Max Adams of Ottawa; 4 grandchildren Noah Fischer (Darby), Emma Fischer aka Pete, Emery Snook aka Repete, and Mason Snook; a great-grandson Malakai Soto; life-long friend Scott Chapman along with many nieces and nephews. The family suggests memorial contributions to Williamsburg-Ottawa Wildlife Conservation Club c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory, Ottawa, Kansas 66067.
