Nadine Jeanette Gremminger

Nadine Jeanette Gremminger was born March 17, 1933, at Scottsbluff, Nebraska. She was the daughter of Elbert and Zella (Carpenter) Mauck. From 1953 to 1964, Nadine lived in Kansas City and Shawnee, Kansas. In 1976, she moved to Ottawa, in Franklin County, Kansas, where she made her home, until her death Thursday, May 6, 2004, at the age of seventy-one years. Nadine graduated from Hayes School of Beauty, Kansas City, Kansas, in 1953. In the 1980's she was owner and operator of Nadine's His & Her's Hair Styling in Ottawa, receiving awards from the Kansas Department of Cosmetology, National Cosmetologist's Association, and National Cosmetology and Beauty Association. In addition to her salon, she was a stylist for homebound and nursing home residents. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church of Ottawa and Kansas City Women's Cosmetologists. Nadine was an outgoing, lovely lady, who greatly enjoyed her family. She also enjoyed and appreciated her many friends. On May 10, 1954, Nadine was united in marriage with Edwin L.
