Myra Mae Chisam

Myra Mae Chisam passed away at age 88 on Monday February 2, 2015 at 2:14 a.m. at Life Care Center of Osawatomie. Myra was born December 28, 1926 in Birmingham, MO to Leonard and Amney Swan. She lived in the surrounding Kansas City, Mo area before moving to North Platte, NE. She had three daughters and one son; she also raised a granddaughter that she considered as a daughter. She has lived the last five years in Paola, KS. She enjoyed playing with all of her grandchildren, attending bingo, going fishing and enjoying the outdoors. Myra was survived by her daughters Sharon Bailey of Orange Park, FL, Amelda Harrington of Wellington, CO, and Tammy Seamands of Paola, KS. She has 15 grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren. Myra was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Chisam, Sr., her son Clarence "Bubby" Chisam, Jr. and daughter Shirley Chisam. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 10:00 a.m., at The Journey Church in Paola, KS to celebrate Myra"s life.
