Mrs. Jimmie Lynn (Sites) Wrigley, age 71, of rural Louisburg, KS, passed away as a result of medical complications on Friday, June 2, 2017 at Olathe Medical Center. Visitation will be 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Thursday, June 8, 2017 at the Louisburg Baptist Temple 6961 W. 271st Street, Louisburg, KS. Funeral service to follow at 3:00 p.m. at the church. Burial in the Louisburg Cemetery. Jimmie was born March 14, 1946 at Los Angeles, California. She was the daughter of James B. ,Jr. and Frances (Campbell) Sites. In the 1950s her family moved to Louisburg, KS. She attended Moore school in Louisburg and graduated with the Louisburg High School Class of 1964. She attended Washburn University at Topeka, KS. She was married to Richard Wrigley on October 13, 2008 at Canton, South Dakota. They made their home on Richard's land in rural Louisburg. Jimmie worked for Puritan Bennett as a purchasing agent for 20 years. She later worked for the Johnson County Sheriff's Department as a vehicle registration research specialist. Jimmie loved going fishing, motorcycle riding, and traveling. She enjoyed wildlife, flowers and birds. None of the wildlife around their home ever went hungry, Jimmie made sure they were all fed well. She was a great cook. Watching older movies was another of her favorite pastimes. Jimmie also liked to read. Always having a positive attitude and a good sense of humor, Jimmie was quick to find positive aspects of any difficult situation. She was a devout Christian with unwavering faith in the Lord. She attended the Louisburg Baptist Temple Church. The women of her Louisburg High School Class of 1964 always had their own get together every year in May and Jimmie always looked forward to those reunions. She was the first female in her class who passed away. Jimmie was very musically talented. She played the piano, violin, organ, guitar, and accordion. Her father, brother, and son also played instruments and they would oftentimes perform together in her younger years. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Richard of the home; son, Bill Hoffstot (Stacy) of Los Angeles, CA; her sister, Sandra Howell (Larry) of Lead, South Dakota; her brother, William "Bill" Sites (Charlene) of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; step-son, Rich Wrigley (Christie) of Louisburg, KS; two step-daughters, Carie Crim (Kevin) of Spring Hill, KS and Heather Thomas (Ron) of Spring, Texas; two grandsons Will and Joe; six step-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
