Monica M. Moni Winnie, age 48, of Paola, Kansas, died Monday, October 25, 2010. She was born on Thursday, December 28, 1961, in Oakland, California, the daughter of Eugene F. and Barbara M. (Kilpack) Winnie. She was a resident of Kansas fifteen years, settling in Miami, County, after moving from Castro Valley, California. Monica graduated from Castro Valley (California) High School. For twenty plus years to present, she was employed as a dispatcher for NYK Logistics Americas, formerly known as Bay Area Piggyback, of Olathe, Kansas. She was of the Catholic faith. She is survived by her: Sister-Carol Ziegler of Nevada; Brother-Norman Winnie of California; Sister-Karen Perazzo of California; Sister-Yvonne Marler of California; Brother-Robert Winnie of New York; Sister-Mary Cooper of California and a Special Friend-Donald Shrakes of Ottawa, Kansas. She is preceded in death by her: Parents-Eugene F. and Barbara M. (Kilpack) Winnie and a brother- Warren Winnie. SERVICES AND INTERMENT: Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 28, 2010, at Evergreen Mound Cemetery.
