Minnie D. Bucklew

Minnie Bucklew, 97, a life-long resident of Paola, Kansas passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at her home. Minnie was born on October 14, 1918 in Paola, Kansas. She was one of four children born to John H. Bucklew and Nan E. Skeens Bucklew. Minnie worked for Sutherland Grocery retiring in 1988. She was a member of the Paola United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She enjoyed the company of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Nan Bucklew; brother, Floyd Bucklew; sisters, Ruth Hinman and Mary James. Minnie is survived by her nieces and nephews. Burial will be at the Paola Cemetery following service at chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Paola United Methodist Church or Paola Senior Center.
