Michael Ray Hammar

Michael Ray Hammar, 54, of Wellsville, Kansas, died Sunday, March 14, 2021. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 17, 2021, at Community Revival Center Church, 2749 Montana Road, Ottawa. Inurnment Highland Cemetery, Ottawa. Michael was born September 10, 1966, in Olathe, Kansas, the son of Melvin and Veronica (Weaver) Hammar. He was a lifelong Wellsville resident. Michael attended school at the Community Revival Center Church Christian Academy. He enjoyed putting models together, artwork and cooking. Michael had a great sense of humor with a big boisterous laugh, a big smile and loved visiting with friends and family. He was preceded in death by his wife Earla Schultz and his mother Veronica Weaver. Survivors include his father Melvin Hammar of Wellsville; son John Hammar of Ottawa; sister Tammy Conekin (Evan) of Webster, South Dakota; several stepchildren, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; and nephew Corey Black of Wellsville.
