Michael Levrier

Michael W. LeVrier, age 21, passed away April 14, 2012 at home after a courageous battle with cancer, and he fought to the very end. Michael was born on May 22, 1990 in Pasadena, Texas to Fred T. and Victoria Adams LeVrier. He moved here in 1993 from Texas and graduated from Paola High School in 2008. Michael enlisted in the United States Army in 2008 which was a childhood dream. He was still in the service when he was stricken with cancer. His hobbies were playing xbox and he was #2 in the Nation for Halo games. He was a true gamer playing against people all over the country. His other passions were fishing, hunting, lifting weights, and running. He was a fitness geek. Michael also played basketball in the Miola League and enjoyed making spoof rap songs about his cancer treatments. He loved spending his time with family and close friends and had a giving heart, giving the shirt off his back if needed. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. Preceding him in death was his father Fred T. LeVrier. He is survived by his parents Joseph and Victoria Hallman of Paola; sister Christen; brothers Joseph, Brandon, and Tryston, all of Paola; grandparents, Boyd Adams, Jim Hallman, Judi Hallman, Martha Land, and Betty LeVrier.
