Michael Leon Gordon, 47, of Ottawa, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2018, at Ransom Memorial Hospital. A celebration of life and potluck will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, March 18, 2018, at the Eagles Lodge. Michael was born November 11, 1970, in Paola, Kansas, the son of Robert and Colleen (Ball) Gordon. He was a near lifelong Ottawa resident. He graduated from Turner High School in Kansas City, Kansas. Michael served in the United States Army. Survivors include his mother, Colleen Ball; three children, Taylor Davis and husband Andrew, Michelle Bryant and husband Tyler, and Alexa Gordon all of Ottawa; four siblings; and four grandchildren, Colten Davis, Bentley Davis, Mason Davis, and Malcolm Bryant. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Gordon; daughter, Kelsey Gordon; and brother, Paul McDaniels. He was a construction laborer. Michael loved spending time with his grandchildren, hunting, fishing, and repairing vehicles.
