Merle Frame

Merle H. Frame, 92, of Paola, formerly of Pratt, Kansas and Chicota, Texas passed away March 13, 2013 at North Point Skilled Nursing Center, Paola, Kansas. Merle was born on May 29, 1920 to Frank B. and Eva Mae (Coburn) Frame in Sawyer, Kansas. He served in the U.S. Air Force. While working for the Pratt Police Department Merle attended Pratt County Community College. Merle retired at age 55 as county manager from ASCS in Wellington, Kansas and enjoyed many years of hunting, fishing, and camping. He married Donna L. Hollinger Ingersol on April 20, 1996 in Paris, Texas. At the age of 83 to age 90, he and Donna were camp hosts at Pay Mayse in Chicota, Texas. He was preceded in death by his first wife Mary; sisters Doris Lambert and Edna Cowan; and brother Louis Frame. He is survived by his wife Donna; daughters Marlene Frame of Nashville, TN, and Margaret Frame of Montreal, Canada; step-daughter Sherry Ahlbrandt (Joel) of Paola, KS; brother Erple Frame of Pratt, KS and many step-grandchildren; great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
