Megan Lynn Patrick, 27, Ottawa, died Monday, Nov. 10, 2008. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Dengel & Son Mortuary, Ottawa. She was born Tuesday, Feb. 17, 1981, at Ottawa to Mike and Janis Gayle (White) Patrick. She was a lifelong Ottawa resident. She graduated from Lawrence Free State High School in 2000. She was a former member of Ottawa Church of the Nazarene. Survivors include her father, Mike Patrick, and his wife, Pam, Lawrence; a son, Nathan Taylor Patrick, Ottawa; a brother, James M. Patrick, and his wife, Shannon, Ottawa; a sister, Kellie A. Patrick, Lawrence; a stepbrother, Jeffrey S. Cooper, Lawrence; a grandfather, Norman White, Surprise, Ariz.; a niece, Heather Heine, Ottawa; anmd several aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her mother, Janis Gayle (White) Patrick, on April 5, 1993. Burial will be at Appanoose Cemetery, Franklin County, Kansas. Friends may pay their respects after 1 p.m. Friday to the service hour at Dengel & Son Mortuary, Ottawa. Family will meet with friends from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday. Memorial contributions may be sent to Nathan Patrick Scholarship Fund in care of Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory St., Ottawa KS 66067.
