Meda Evinger

Meda Mae Evinger age 86 of Eudora passed away Mon. Feb. 23 at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Meda was born Jan. 31, 1924 in Paola Kansas to Noah Wesley and Zula Ethel Huston McRoberts. She has lived in Douglas County most of her life . On March 23, 1945 she was united in marriage to Lawrence O. Evinger in Kansas City Kansas. Together they had four sons and one daughter. She was a housewife, mother and worked at Eudora Nursing Center as a laundry supervisor before retiring. She enjoyed gardening, reading, spending time with her grandchildren and family, playing cards, watching game shows and Lifetime movies, and listening to country music. She also enjoyed socializing and was a friend to all. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Larry, one sister, and two brothers. Survivors are her children Terry Lee Evinger , David Lawrence Evinger, Rodney Ray Evinger all of Eudora, one daughter Karen Evinger of Lawrence 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
