Mason H. Jones, Jr., 61, of Princeton, Kansas passed away Monday, October 28, 2013 at Olathe Medical Center. Cremation is planned. Memorial services will be held at Dengel & Son Mortuary, 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 2, 2013. Family will meet with friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. Saturday. Mason was born on Monday, July 28, 1952 in Osceola, Missouri, the son of Mason H. Sr. and Martha (Drake) Jones. He has lived in Princeton, Kansas since 1991. He graduated from El Dorado Springs High School, El Dorado Springs, Missouri, with the class of 1970. On May 22, 1971 Mason was united in marriage with Darlene Graybill in Kansas City, Kansas. She survives of their home. Survivors also include his three children, Mason Jones III and his wife Jennifer of Richmond, Kansas, Charles Jones of Atlanta, Georgia, and Donna Jones of Princeton; six grandchildren, Terence and Travis Venniro, Sadee Jones, Brittany White, and Alex and Alyssa Jones; sisters and brothers, Connie Leonard, Jim, John, Clayton, Janice, and Randy Jones; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mason worked for Cargotec for seventeen years, retiring in 2013. Mason served in the United States Air Force from 1971 to 1991 attaining the rank of Master Sergeant. While in the military he served two tours in Germany and one tour in Sicily. He was a member of the Church Of The Nazarene. The family suggests memorial contributions to Church Of The Nazarene c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory, Ottawa, Kansas 66067.
