RESIDENCE HISTORY: She grew up and lived in Sedan until after high school graduation, moving to Topeka at that time and Ottawa in 1935. EDUCATION: Mary graduated from Sedan High School with the class of 1932. OCCUPATION & BUSINESS: She worked as a waitress at the North American Hotel Royal Cafe, Colbern`s Restaurant; managed the Village Inn Motel for 20 years; and, cleaned rooms at the Hallmark Inn, all of Ottawa, until retiring at the age of 83. MEMBERSHIPS: She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church; Warren Black Post #60, American Legion Auxiliary; Aerie Lodge #2700, Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary; and, Ottawa Lodge #803, Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, all of Ottawa. MARRIAGE: Mary was united in marriage with Joseph St. Clair Wollam. They were later divorced. SERVICES: Funeral services will be held from the Dengel & Son Mortuary 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 7, 2004. OFFICIATING CLERGY: IN STATE: Mrs. Wollam Larkin will lie in state at the Dengel & Son Mortuary after 9:00 a.m. Thursday to the service hour, where the family will meet with friends from 9 to 10:00 a.m. prior to the service on Saturday. CEMETERY: Highland Cemetery, Ottawa, Kansas. MEMORIALS: The family suggests memorials to Good Shepherd Hospice, c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory, Ottawa, Kansas 66067.
