LOUISBURG- Mary L. Stowe, 81, of Louisburg, KS, passed away at her home on Monday April 7, 2008. Mary was born August 3, 1926 in Harveyville, Kansas to Roy and Verna Marrs. She was a 1944 graduate of Harveyville High School. She was married to Ernest L. Stowe on April 6, 1946 in Topeka, Kansas. She lived in the Topeka area for most of her life and retired from Jostens's American Yearbook Company in 1985. In 1997 the couple moved to Louisburg to be closer to their family. Mr. Stowe preceded her in death in October, 2007. She was also preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Gary Dean Stowe; brothers, Harley and Richard (Dick) Marrs. Mary is survived by brothers Kenneth Marrs of Peoria, AZ; Gail Marrs and wife Ruth of St. Louis; Harvey Marrs and wife Elsie of Topeka; sister Ora Walter of Ft Worth TX; sisters-in-law Jeanne Marrs of Highland, IN; Lyda Stowe of Auburn, KS; Edith Stowe of Topeka and brother-in-law Herschel (Dale) Stowe and wife Emma of Belton, MO. She leaves her children, Bruce Stowe and wife Terri of Shawnee, KS, Catherine and husband Bob Eberhardt of Louisburg. Also surviving Mary include grand-daughter Jennifer Monteil and husband Jeff, grandson Clint Bullock and wife Julie, step grandsons, Robert Eberhardt and wife Angela all of Louisburg; and step grandson Jason Eberhardt of Phoenix, AZ. She is also survived by great- grandchildren, Ryan, Dylan and Evan Monteil; Bret and Kayla Bullock; and step great-grandchildren Ashley, Megan, Johnny Eberhardt. She also leaves a large number of nieces, nephews and friends who will all miss her. Mary L. Stowe
