Mary Elaine White

Mary Elaine White, age 68, of Louisburg, KS died Wednesday, May 25, 2011, at St. Luke"s South Hospital, Overland Park, KS. She was born June 4, 1942 in Kansas City, KS, the daughter of Ray C. and Eliza Helen (Copeland) White. She lived in Kansas City, KS, Roeland Park, KS and Loveland, CO before moving to Louisburg in 2007. Mary retired from AT & T and also worked for Southwestern Bell and Mountain Bell. She graduated from Bishop Ward High School in Kansas City, KS. She deeply loved the Lord Jesus Christ and committed to sharing His gospel and love with everyone she came in contact with. Mary enjoyed the mountains of Colorado, white-river rafting, Disney movies, puppies and children and cherished her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Betty June White Michalski, Rose Marie White Drew and her beloved English Setter, Sweet Pretty Baby. Survivors include one brother, Ray White, Paola, KS; one sister, Donna White Wolfe, Linn Valley, KS, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Penwell - Gabel Louisburg Chapel with the visitation being from 9:00 " 10:00 a.m. prior to the service. Graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Kansas City, KS. Family suggests that memorial contributions be given to American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ).
