Mary Estaleé Baker, age 76, of Princeton, Kansas, died Sunday, January 3, 2010. She was born on Monday, May 8, 1933, in Arma, Kansas. She was the daughter of Jules and Roselie (Spineto) Mouton. She grew up in the Pittsburg area. In 1954, she moved to Ottawa and Princeton in 1965. Mary attended Pittsburg schools. She worked as a seamstress for H.D. Lee in the 1960’s and 1970’s and Mode O’Day in the 1970’s and 1980’s, both in Ottawa. In the early 1980’s, she owned, operated, and taught classes in her ceramic business; operated M & M Daycare from 1990 to 1998; and owned Small Town Antiques’ Shop from 1998 to retirement in 2001, all from her residence in Princeton. Mary is survived by her husband, Allan Baker, of fifty-five years. She is survived by her: Husband-Allan Baker of their home, Son-Allan C. Baker, Jr. of Princeton, Kansas, Son-Dennis Baker and his wife, Kristi, of Princeton, Kansas, Son-Kenny Baker and his wife, Crystal, of Princeton, Kansas, Daughter-Diana Buckle and her husband, Joe, of Girard, Kansas, Daughter-Jacque Baker of Princeton, Kansas, Daughter-Marilyn Gellhaus and her husband, Mike, of Princeton, Kansas, Sister-Rose Marie Wright and her husband, Gene, of Lone Elm, Kansas, Sister-Geraldine Burns of Pittsburg, Kansas, Fifteen - Grandchildren, Thirteen-Gt.Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her: Father-Jules Mouton Mother-Roselie (Spineto) Mouton Son-in-law-Fredrick J. Gellhaus SERVICES: Funeral services will be held from the Dengel & Son Mortuary in Ottawa at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 6, 2010. IN STATE: Mrs. Baker will lie in state at the Dengel & Son Mortuary after 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, where the family will meet with friends from 7:00 to 8:00 Tuesday evening. CEMETERY: Princeton Cemetery in Princeton, Kansas. MEMORIALS: The family suggests memorial contributions to Midland Hospice or Princeton Christian Church, c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory, Ottawa, Kansas 66067.
