Mary Ann York

Mary Ann York, age 71 of Ottawa, Kansas, died Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at Ottawa Retirement Village. She was born on Monday, April 14, 1941 in St Peter, Kansas. She was the daughter of John and Angela (Lang) Richmeier. She has been a resident of Ottawa since 2005, moving from Ontario, California. Mary attended schools in Park, Kansas and was a homemaker. She enjoyed her pets and music. Mary was united in marriage with Garlan York. He preceded her in death on March 17, 2002. She was also preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Angela Williams, Theresa Boor and Rita Rowlison; two brothers, Leo Richmeier and Al Richmeier, and stepmother Elizabeth Richmeier. She is survived by her daughter, Betty Anderson, Ottawa; two sons, George York, Cotopaxi, Colorado and Marshall York, Ontario, California; a brother, Leroy Richmeier of Wichita, Kansas, grandsons, Alex Banzon and Dylan York.
