Mary Ann Bacon

Mary Ann Bacon, 74, of Ottawa, Kansas, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2023, at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission, Merriam, Kansas.

Memorial services will be held 2:00 pm, Friday, January 12, 2024 at Dengel & Son Mortuary, Ottawa, Kansas.

Mary Ann was born Saturday, February 12, 1949, in Ottawa, Kansas, the daughter of Marvin and Shirley (Servatius) White.

She was a lifelong Ottawa resident.

Mary Ann graduated from the Ursuline Academy in Paola, Kansas, with the class of 1967.

In February, 1968, she was united in marriage in Monterey, California to John Bacon. He preceded her in death in 2004.

Mary Ann was employed with Hallmark Cards in Lawrence, Kansas, as a machine operator and inspector from the early 1990s to the mid-2000s.

She was a member of the Sacred Heart Church in Ottawa, Kansas.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by husband John; parents Marvin and Shirley; and son Jay Bacon.

Survivors include her son Robert Bacon (Stephanie) of Ottawa; daughter Sarah Trevino (Manuel) of Kansas City, Kansas; and four grandchildren.
