Marvin Lane Mallory, 86, of Louisburg, KS passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Belton Medical Center, Belton, MO. He was born in Amy, Kansas on July 3, 1931, the son of Wayland Otis and Alice F. (Messenger) Mallory. On January 28, 1950 he was united in marriage to Arietta Humphreys in Kansas City, MO. Marvin worked for Frisco and Santa Fe Railroad for 11 years. He then worked for Midway Ford and Peterbilt as a mechanic before going to work at Meyers Turf Farm. He and his wife later became owner/operators of Consumer Printing Company before retiring. Marvin liked to camp and fish but he most enjoyed spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Marion and Mark Mallory and one sister, Mary Strong. Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Arietta; one daughter, Loree Neill (David); three sons, David Mallory (LeAnn); Danny Mallory (Tonjia) and Loren Mallory; eight grandchildren, Christy White, Sarah Etheridge, Colby Mallory, Cameron Mallory, Leandra Schneberger, Tracy Day, Corey Mallory and Jamey Mallory. Four step-grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; one sister, Martha Andrews and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the First Baptist Church, Louisburg, KS with the funeral service immediately following at 11:00 a.m. The family suggests contributions to The American Heart Association or American Lung Association.
