Marlene Kay "Bunny" Kirkland

Marlene K. "Bunny" Kirkland, 63, of Ottawa, Kansas, passed away Friday, October 7, 2022.

A celebration of Marlene’s life will be celebrated later.

Inurnment Princeton Cemetery, Princeton, Kansas.

Marlene was born June 19, 1959, in Ottawa, the daughter of Dean Eldon and Betty Lou (Morrow) Kirkland. She lived most of her life in Franklin County, Kansas, and attended Central Heights Schools with the class of 1977.

On December 26, 1976, Marlene was united in marriage to Robert L. Kuiken, Jr. in Princeton, Kansas. They later divorced. She married Mark L. Page on December 19, 1999, in Princeton. They later divorced.

Marlene always looked forward to spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was a wonderful caretaker to her mom and enjoyed talking on the phone with her Aunt Carol. She was very organized, loved her Yorkie dogs, traveling, and collecting rocks.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dean and Betty Kirkland.

Survivors include a son R.D. Kuiken and wife Hollie of Ottawa; two siblings, Kathy Jones and husband Casey of Princeton, and Randy Kirkland and wife Cindy also of Princeton; four grandchildren, Addison Kuiken, Kaegan Kuiken, Tatum Kuiken, and Judson Kuiken; niece Tonya Lankard and nephew Curt Watson.
